”The planning application for the Eastern Arm of Brighton Marina has been withdrawn by the developers.
We expect this was because they had probably been told by the Council that it was going to be recommended for refusal for a number of reasons including the damage to the surf break there. This is fantastic news and a tribute to everyone who has campaigned against it, written letters, signed petitions and got the support of the British Surfing Association, Sport England, the Environment Agency, local residents, councillors, candidate MPs and others.”
